Director of Financial Services

Introduction

The Director of Financial Services heads the Treasury Department with the assistance of one Deputy Director, two Senior Assistant Directors and three Assistant Directors.

This department is divided into three major sections;

• The Administration section.
• The Payment section.
• The Accounts section.

The Payment Section and the Accounts section are each headed by a Senior Assistant Director, whereas the Administration Section is under the leadership of one Assistant Director.

This department has a total workforce of around 270 personnels.

Mission

The mission of The Treasury department is: -

"the enforcement of the 1983 financial regulation and preparing the nation's financial statement to be audited by the general auditor"
